(Retd) served in the IAF for 33 years and
has extensive experience on MiG series of
aircraft. His flying career ended in January
2004 due to a small medical issue involving
a brain stroke. Since then he served on an
operational post in Command HQ, as an
instructor in College of Air Warfare, and
as a Research Fellow in the think tanks
Centre for Air Power Studies (CAPS)
and Institute For Defence Studies and
Analyses (IDSA). He earned a MBA
from Delhi University's Faculty of
Management Studies in 2009 and a
PhD from JNU in 2016. After
retirement in June 2018 he has settled
down in Secunderabad.
