Defence Diplomacy has expanded in recent years, with several agreements on strategic cooperation, defence collaboration, etc. being inked by India with many nations. Training cooperation with foreign Armies has diversified, joint exercises with foreign Armies have grown in number, scope and size. This article recounts the major training components in Exercise Hand in Hand conducted between PLA and the Indian Army troops in December 2019 in Meghalaya.
