Krishna Murthy was commissioned into the JAT Regiment in 1980 and joined 1 JAT (LI) that later became 2 MECH INF. He was an excellent basketballer and represented IMA. Persistent shoulder dislocations however compelled him to take a break from Basketball. He currently serves as the President and CEO of the Meadowlands Transportation Brokerage Corporation (Meadowlink) a non-profit, public-private partnership that provides transportation services in New Jersey.
