Commodore Neriamparampil Anil Jose
Joseph (Retd), an alumnus of Rashtriya
Indian Military College, Dehradun and
National Defence Academy, Pune is an
Anti-Submarine Warfare specialist. He
has attended prestigious courses at Defence
Services Staff College, Wellington, Army
War College, Mhow and National Defence
College, New Delhi. During Operation
Pawan, he was part of the INLTs, and
saw active service in the Gulf of Mannar
onboard Minesweepers and in the Palk
Straits onboard INS Cheetah and INS
Karwar. The officer has commanded INS
Vibhuti, INS Shardul and INS Ranjit.
An avid reader, a good sportsman and an
active mentor / counsellor, he was Director
Maritime Warfare Centre Kochi before
superannuating as Commanding Officer
Venduruthy and Station Commander
Kochi. The officer was awarded VSM
