Brigadier Madan Bhanot, (Retd), commissioned on
14 December 1958 into the Corps of Signals has
attended DSSC and Higher Command Courses. He
has been an Instructor at Indian Military Academy,
Dehradun and at the Army War College, Mhow. He
has also served as the Commander, Faculty of
Combat Communications at Military College of
Telecommunication Engineering, Mhow. He has held
prestigious appointments in the Military Operations
Directorate at New Delhi, in field formations and has
been the Director JCES, Cabinet Secretariat,
Military Wing at New Delhi. He researched the
conflict in Kameng Division and has authored the
book “Escape from Namka Chu”. He has also
published a number of articles for the Infantry
Journal, USI Journal and other publications.
