was commissioned on 01 Jul 1986. A Communications and Electronic Warfare Specialist, he has commanded IN Ships Jalashwa and Vindhyagiri apart from many key operational, training, diplomatic and staff assignments. A PhD from Mumbai University, he has been the Lead Author/Chief Editor of nine books/publications of the Indian Navy. He is currently the Director Maritime Warfare Centre, Mumbai as also Officer in Charge, Naval History Project.
