Colonel David Devasahayam (Retd) was commissioned into 2/8 GR better known as SIKAND AITE, in June 1980 and went on to command an Assam Rifles battalion in the Northeast. Besides active operational service in Kashmir, he has also been an instructor in The Infantry School. He successfully transitioned to a second innings in the Corporate Sector in 2005, and is presently the Chairman cum Managing Director of the Radiant Group. He is the Founder and Publisher of Medals and Ribbons too.
