Veena Naravane, an alumnus of the Jawaharlal
Nehru University, New Delhi has been a teacher
and a teacher trainer for nearly three decades.
She was the President of AWWA from 2020
to 2022. Currently, she is on the Advisory
Boards of a couple of NGOs and is actively
involved in training programmes for teachers in
rural areas. A prolific writer too, she has
contributed to several magazines and newspapers.
She enjoys writing humorous anecdotes and her
favourite genre is the short story of which she has
several works to her credit.
